I returned to la Galerie Plastik'Art this year, with Déraciné, This was a similar success to last year's exposition. The sun shone and visitors came, paintings sold.

Again I thank the Association Plastik' Art wholeheartedly for the reception that they gave me at the gallery. 

A painting is always a displacement of the real subject or imagined situation onto the canvas; often torn up, rearranged and manipulated. This is more subtle in my realistic landscapes but clearly evident in the surrealistic juxtaposition of subjects in my more ludicrous paintings.  Hence the title of the current exhibition, Déraciné, Uprooted. So both me and my work are uprooted, but hopefully not rejected.
